Conditions of use

The access to and use of the website www.caf-dcf.be (or any derivatives thereof) (the “Website”) is subject to the following conditions of use ("Conditions of Use"). By continuing the visit of the Website or by using the Website in any way, the user expressly declares to agree with the Conditions of Use and confirms to strictly comply with the Conditions of Use. If the user experiences certain difficulties in consulting the Conditions of Use or if the user does not agree with the content thereof, the user shall refrain from further using or consulting the Website.

Purpose and content

The Website is intended for information purposes only and merely serves as a tool to enhance the understanding of the various aspects of the plasma derivatives of CAF-DCF. The content of the Website has not been adapted to personal or specific circumstances and should in no way be used or applied as professional advice. Always consult your doctor if you have medical problems. The information presented on the Website can in no way constitute an attempt to sell, market or otherwise trade the products and services of CAF-DCF. CAF-DCF reserves the right to adapt or adjust the content, lay-out and structure (and other characteristics and features) of the Website at all times.

Liability

CAF-DCF manages the Website and adjusts it each time when necessary so as to provide the users with the most recent information with respect to its services, products and activities. CAF-DCF uses its best efforts to ensure that the provided information is complete, correct, accurate and up to date. Despite these efforts inaccuracies, errors or inaccuracies may however occur. In the event that incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information would have been published on the Website by CAF-DCF, CAF-DCF shall use its best efforts to make the necessary corrections upon their discovery. If the user would itself discover errors in the information on the Website, the user can always contact CAF-DCF by sending an e-mail to info@caf-dcf.be.

CAF-DCF shall endeavor to secure the Website by using all reasonable means, and to limit any inconveniences caused by technical errors as much as possible. In the event of an attack on the Website, IT-criminality or any other non-permitted attempt to access the Website (in whole or in part), CAF-DCF shall use all available legal means to protect the integrity of its Website and such with the cooperation of the competent authorities. However, CAF-DCF cannot exclude that wrong technical maneuvers or non-permitted interventions take place. Consequently, CAF-DCF cannot guarantee that the access to the Website will not be interrupted or not be hampered in some other way by problems of this kind.

The user acknowledges and accepts that CAF-DCF shall bear no responsibility or liability in connection with or in relation to the content, correctness or completeness of the data or information available through the Website (or the use or application thereof). By visiting or using the Website the user assumes all risks associated therewith. The user shall be responsible for any possible damage to its computer system, the software or as a result of the loss of data caused by downloading information or which is attributable to a virus that would have been transmitted or activated by the Website. CAF-DCF cannot be held liable in this respect. CAF-DCF shall also refuse any liability in case of inappropriate or fraudulent use of the data or information on the Website.

The Website (including texts, lay-out, video files, audio files, graphic components, presentation, brands, logos, software, databases, the corporate name of CAF-DCF and other components of the Website) is protected by intellectual property rights which belong exclusively to CAF-DCF and its licensors. Each user explicitly undertakes to respect at all times the intellectual property rights of CAF-DCF and/or third parties. CAF-DCF hereby allows the users to use the content of the Website for non-commercial private purposes, provided that the source is acknowledged in accordance with the format "month/year, CAF-DCF, website www.caf-dcf.be". Save in case of CAF-DCF’s written permission, the users shall not reproduce, forward, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, adjust, translate or edit the Website, or make the Website available to third parties for consideration or otherwise use it for commercial purposes. None of the information presented on the Website may be interpreted as granting any rights to the users or other persons, except for the permission to use the information on the Website for non-commercial, private purposes. CAF-DCF reserves the right to amend these Conditions of Use at any time. It shall be the user’s own responsibility to consult the applicable conditions on a regular basis. These Conditions of Use have been most recently amended and revised on 17/02/2017.

Applicable law

The Conditions of Use, the privacy policy and the access to, and use of the Website are governed by Belgian law. By using the Website the user agrees that any disputes will be exclusively submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.

Privacy policy & cookies

CAF-DCF is responsible for protecting the user’s privacy and always acts in accordance with the provisions of the Belgian privacy act (Act of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data) (the “Privacy Act”, as applicable from time to time) and the privacy policy below. CAF-DCF reserves the right to amend its privacy policy at all times. The privacy policy has been amended and revised most recently on 17/02/2017.

Through the Website CAF-DCF will collect and process personal data. The personal data of the user that will be collected are the data provided/disclosed to CAF-DCF by the user (including, without limitation: [name, address, e-mail address, mobile phone number, sex, birth date]). The user hereby grants his/her unambiguous permission to process such data in accordance with the terms and conditions of these provisions. The personal data disclosed by the user will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act. CAF-DCF shall be responsible for processing the data for the following purposes: [the ability to provide the information requested by the user, client administration, collecting statistical data (on an anonymous basis) and the general management of the Website]. CAF-DCF shall use its best efforts to protect the confidentiality and security of the data.

Each user has the right to access and correct his/her personal data that are being processed in the files of CAF-DCF. This right of access and correction can be exercised directly through the Website or via the e-mail address: info@caf-dcf.be. Each user has the right, as the case may be, to oppose against the processing of his/her data for direct marketing purposes by notifying CAF-CDF thereof through a dated and signed request addressed to the seat of CAF-DCF. The user is also entitled to consult the submission of CAF-DCF in the register of the commission for the protection of privacy (i.e. the Privacy Commission).

CAF-DCF takes all reasonable measures to secure the confidentiality of the user’s personal data. The user acknowledges however that the transmission of personal data through the internet is never without risks. The user acknowledges and accepts therefore that CAF-DCF shall not be liable for damages which the user would suffer as a result of the illegal use of personal data by unauthorized third parties.

The Website may make use of cookies (i.e. small pieces of information which the browser stores on the user’s computer). The information that will be collected through the use of cookies is intended to enhance the alignment of the Website with the needs and preferences of the user, to collect statistics regarding the visiting of the Website and to facilitate the use of the Website. CAF-DCF shall not use the data collected through cookies for other purposes, nor shall it disclose such information to third parties. The user has the right to refuse or prevent the application of cookies through his/her browser, but in such a case certain sections of the Website may not function optimally.
